My greatest joy is my family.  I have been married 36 years to my husband, George. With 5 children, 4 of whom are married and my 11+ grandchildren, I spend a lot of my time cooking family dinners, attending piano and dance recitals, along with football, basketball and soccer games. I enjoy singing, reading and sewing if I have any time left over! I love Boise State football and have been attending games with George since I was 17 years old! 

I have worked for the Boise School District for 20 years in different positions. I love my job in the Library and find great joy in sharing my love of reading and books with our students. One of my favorite quotes is, “Children are made readers on the laps of their parents”.
